To the very special person who clicked on 'my love' button, I would like to tell you a story about me. Yes, your friend Harold!Sage is my darling muse, as I often call her. She's horrible, cruel, and mean— but I will forever love her to bits no matter what! She’s my beautiful perfect wife who’s a freak and does everything wrong. ♡As most know, I have been fawning over Sage for about 6 years now. During 2020, when had just turned twelve, I recall finding her on CQ’s Tumblr and immediately fell in love with her. And since then, I've been drawing her ever since. Even when I only had bits and pieces of her personality when she was a Lucidia character; I loved, and still do, adore everything about Sage.My love for Sage is extremely personal to me, as it runs deeply into who I am today. It extends beyond Sage being a wonderful well written character, but more so what she has been to me all these years. I found Sage during an extremely difficult part of my life, so as a result, she is comfort to me. Throughout those difficult years, the existense of Sage and my love for her helped me cope and comforted me greatly.
She was my pillar of support. My protector. The one who saved me from the depths of my despair.... which is incredibly ironic, considering the fact she does zero comforting in the book!You can imagine my shock when I saw her again in The Vulture’s debut in August 2024 alongside with Clarimonde and Mirror. Seeing her again felt like I was twelve, falling in love with her all over again.Before I was ever involved, I admired CQ's work from afar, as I was much more shy when I was younger. I find myself falling back into that shyness sometimes, but as any of you know, nowadays I’m quite vocal about my love for Sage! I’m grateful I was able to come out of my shell and finally sing my praises about her! Special thanks to my very dear friend Purrple for immediately ratting me out to CQ about my Sage profile picture back in 2024, couldn’t have done it without her. I mean it, genuinely!Without my enthusiasm for Sage, I wouldn’t be the gal you know now.Knowing that brief history between Sage and I... being any help of Miss Brandi Bennett herself is an absolute privilege and honor! Being able to watch The Vulture’s development over the past years first hand, being able to finally read about Sage—it makes me so, so happy! So much happier than anyone could ever know. Sometimes I still can’t believe that I am so involved in my favorite book’s development. But I wouldn’t replace it for anything else. It is truly an unforgettable experience of mine… and I am so grateful to CQ for giving me such an opportunity. Thank you for creating The Vulture, CQ!And most of all, thank you for creating Sage. She saved me.... so with all that being said, thank you for existing, Sage.
